The Merritt Centennials would like to congratulate Alan Mazur after signing with the Alaska Aces of the East Coast Hockey League for the 2010-11 season.
Mazur, who led all BCHL defencemen in scoring during the 2005-06 season with 70 points, spent last season with the NCAA Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers, finishing with 23 points in 39 games.
The Burnaby product is a veteran of 137 NCAA games and is RIT's all-time scoring leader among defencemen and third all-time since the school joined NCAA Division I.
Mazur received a scholarship to RIT while playing for the Centennials after being acquired from Coquitlam for Dave Simoes in October 2005.
