The Merritt Centennials would like to announce the immediate need for arena staff volunteers for the upcoming 2010-11 season.
?We require a committed group of individuals to ensure safety and enjoyment for all who attend Cents home games, including players and officials,? said Cents Director of Security Nik Vischschraper. ?BC Hockey League standards require a distinct group of personnel on hand for league games and the Cents organization faces strict consequences if these standards are not met.?
Vischschraper continued, ?As a result, we?re looking for people who are looking for a great way to be involved with the Centennials, enjoy working with people and have experience with crowd control. Interested parties are encouraged to contact me as soon as possible.?
