The Merritt Centennials would like to congratulate Kevin Willison on being hired as Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations of the Olds Grizzlys of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
Willison joins the Grizzlys after coaching midget teams at The Edge School for the past five seasons. He also has coaching experience with Milwaukee of the International Hockey League and Virginia of the East Coast Hockey League.
The Calgary product spent the 1975-76 season in Merritt, posting 16 goals and 28 assists in 60 games. After advancing to the Western Canada Hockey League with Calgary and then Billings, Willison played more than 500 games at the pro hockey level before retiring in 1986.
