Anthony Perdicaro scored a goal and two assists as the Cowichan Valley Capitals beat the Merritt Centennials 6-3 in BC Hockey League action Friday night.
Taylor Paziuk, Rajan Sidhu, Nick Anderson and Jackson Garrett also each had a goal and an assist for the Capitals (8-17-0-1). Former Cents defenceman Curtis Gedig also had a goal for Cowichan while Alexandre Peck made 24 saves.
Jordan Soquila and Mitch Jones each had a goal and an assist for Merritt. Derek Hills also scored for the Centennials (8-17-0-1).
Merritt's Cole Holowenko stopped 21 of 27 shots before giving way to affiliate Riley Wall 6:35 into the third period. Wall made four saves on four attempts.
The Capitals had the advantage on the shot clock 31-27. Merritt was 2-for-6 on the power play while Cowichan Valley went 2-for-5.
The Centennials continue their five game road trip Saturday in Victoria while the Caps visit Alberni Valley, also on Saturday.
