Bryce Kakoske had a goal and two assists as the Vernon Vipers beat the Merritt Centennials in BC Hockey League action Tuesday night at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena.
Malcolm Lyles had two assists for Vernon (34-11-4-9) while Marcus Basara, David Robinson, John Knisley and Dylan Walchuk also scored in the win.
Sean Maktaak and Regan Soquila supplied the offence for Merritt (21-30-1-6). Max Vallis, Brandon Pfeil, Jeff Jones and J-P Witkop each had an assist for the Centennials. It's the third straight game Soquila has scored while Jones is riding a three-game assist streak.
Lino Chimienti kicked out 33 of 28 shots for the Cents. Kirby Halcrow made 28 saves in goal for the Vipers.
Merritt went 2-for-6 on the power play while Vernon was 2-for-5 with the man advantage.
The Centennials continue the final week of the BCHL regular season on Thursday at home against Prince George.
