Cents Fall to Third After Prince George Picks up Six Points This Weekend

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Merritt, BC – February 13, 2012

The Merritt Centennials have fallen out of their second place spot in the BCHL's Interior Conference after Prince George picked up six points on their road trip this past weekend.

Merritt suffered a disappointing loss to Vernon on Friday night bringing the teams losing streak to six games, five of those games on the road.

Prince George won all three of their games over the weekend to bring their point total to 60, one point over the Cents.

Both teams have the same amount of games to bring them to the end of the regular season and there are many opportunities for the Cents to regain their long-held second place spot.
