The Merritt Centennials continued their season success over Penticton defeating the Vees 5-2 at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
The Cents received two goals from Regan Soquila (23&24) and Derek Huisman (22&23). Sebastien Pare scored the game winner in the 3rd (17).
Assists – Tyler Martin, Derek Huisman, Scotty Patterson, Payton Schaefer, and Sean Maktaak.
Tyler Steel was very good in goal as he turned away 32 of 34 for his 26th win of the season.
With the win, the Centennials climb within 4 points of the Penticton Vees for the top spot in the Interior Division. The Cents still have one game in hand on the Vees.
