The Merritt Centennials played well, but once again couldn't overcome the West Kelowna Warriors as the Cents drop a 2-1 decision at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena.
The lone goal scorer was Cents Captain Brent Flecter (7).
The assist on the goal went to Kevin Lohan.
Tyler Steel had a good game making 32 of 34 saves for the second straight night.
The loss combined with the one point Penticton received on Saturday night means the Cents are behind by 5 points with 1 game in hand. With the win, the Warriors climb within 5 points of 2nd place with 2 more head to head battles and 1 game in hand on the Cents.
