The Merritt Centennials are excited to announce the signing of the Nepean, On native and forward Easton Ryan (03).
Ryan 5’11” 175 lbs. was the 2023 2nd round draft choice in the NAHL by New Mexico Ice Wolves. This past season, Easton suited up with Boston Jr. Bruins of the NCDC and produced 22 goals, 35 assists in 50 games to lead the team in scoring. The skilled & hard working forward spent two seasons with the Boston Jr. Bruins program.
“Easton Ryan is a highly skilled, hard working player that has a high hockey IQ. He demonstrates a willingness to compete each shift and a desire to get better on and off the ice. Easton was the Captain of his team last season, and as a 20 year old he will be expected to provide leadership for our team this season. He will be an exciting player to watch this season. We felt we needed to add a player with his offensive talent and we expect him to step in and produce right away.”
The Centennials would like to welcome Easton and his family to the Merritt Centennials organization.
