We are very pleased to announce the signing of Right Defencemen UMass Amherst commit Kiernan Poulin.
Poulin, 17, of Norwell, Massachusetts was drafted 2nd round, 19th overall in 2022 by the Waterloo Black Hawks in the USHL Futures Draft. Kiernan played last season with Lovell Hockey Academy16u AAA program and was Assistant Captain, in 39 games played Kiernan had nearly a point per game with 8 goals and 28 assists. Kiernan also made his USHL debut with the Waterloo Black Hawks, playing in 2 regular season games. The 5'10" , 160 pound defencemen is a crafty, creative player that can provide offence.
"He really sets himself about with his skating ability and his footwork. Kiernan's style will help with team puck possession and he can really make plays under pressure. We are excited to see what he can bring to our lineup. As a young player he will have so much room to grow his game and learn with his experience.
