Former Cents goaltender Jonah Imoo has been invited to the 2016 Los Angeles Kings Summer Development Camp, which starts Monday, July 4 at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, California.
Imoo appeared in 32 games for the Centennials in 2014-15, his lone season in Merritt. He finished with a 19-13-0 record, one shutout, a 3.16 goals-against-average, and a .908 save percentage.
Among his notable performances were 47 saves in a 4-1 win against Alberni Valley, 44 saves in a 5-1 victory over Salmon Arm, and 40 saves in a 3-2 win against Prince George.
He also played all four playoff games for the Cents in 2015 against Vernon with a 3.00 goals-against-average and a .915 save percentage.
