Former Cents forward Hamilton Joins BCHL Grads on Calder Cup Champs

BC Hockey League gradutate Jason Krog capped an outstanding 07-08 season with a hat trick in the Chicago Wolves Calder Cup clinching 5-2 victory over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday night. The performance put an exclamation point on a 38 point post-season for Krog, who was named the American Hockey League's playoff MVP.

Krog, a Chilliwack Chiefs alumnus, was joined by two other BCHL grads — former Surrey Eagle Nathan Oystrick and former Merritt Centennial Mike Hamilton — on a talented Wolves roster. Oystrick also notched a goal in the series clinching win over the Penguins. Hamilton, who spent the regular season with the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL, played six games with the Wolves during the playoffs, notching a single goal.
