The Merritt Centennials are off to their one and only date with the Wenatchee Wild tonight. Puck Drop is at 7:05, pre game begins on Q101 at 6:50pm.
Tonight’s game will be the first time either team has played each other, as the Wild are currently in their first BCHL season. Wenatchee is chasing a playoff berth in the Mainland Division with a 24-12 record, good for 2nd place. Merritt is currently in 6th place in the Interior with 31 points, 14-26 so far. Wenatchee started the year undefeated in 6 and has enjoyed a good start to their inaugural BCHL campaign.
Wenatchee is coming off a win to the Nanaimo Clippers 7-2, while Merritt played at home last night to the Penticton Vees, losing 6-2.
