The Merritt Centennials announced today that they have traded the junior 'A' rights for goaltender Cole Holowenko to the Westside Warriors of the BCHL for future considerations.
The Penticton product appeared in 31 games with the Cents last season, posting a 9-14-0-0 record with a 5.42 goals-against-average and a .858 save percentage.
Holowenko also appeared in two WHL games in 2009-10 with the Chilliwack Bruins, finishing with an 0-2-0-0 record, a 6.01 GAA and a .706 save percentage.
The Cents would like to thank Cole for his contributions last season and wish him the best of luck in the future.
