Cents Open 2011 Pre-Season in 100 Mile House vs. Prince George

Merritt, BC – September 2, 2011

The Merritt Centennials kick off their pre-season with a neutral site game in 100 Mile House against rivals Prince George Spruce Kings tonight.

Tonight's game vs. PG starts off a pre-season schedule of six games in 16 days for the Cents. They travel to Westside tomorrow, followed by SFU in Merritt next Friday before hosting the RBC Cup finalist Vernon Vipers next Saturday. The red, black and white finish off with a home-and-home against Chilliwack on Friday, September 16th at Prospera Centre and back in Merritt on Saturday, September 17th.

Merritt sends a relatively veteran group of forwards with a younger blue to the ice in their pre-season debut. This is the projected Centennials roster:
