The Merritt Centennials improved to 4-0 on the season against Westside with a 2-1 win Saturday night at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena.
Evan Stack scored the winning goal on a power play in the second period while David Sabey also scored for the Centennials. Blaine Bokenfohr, Dustin Lebrun, Regan Soquila and Brandon Pfeil chipped in with an assist each in the win.
Travis Blanleil notched the lone goal for Westside.
Lino Chimienti made 33 saves in goal for Merritt and Kevin Boyle kicked out 28 shots for the Warriors in the loss.
The Centennials power play went 1-for-4 while Westside was 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
Merritt plays its final game before the Christmas break on Saturday, December 18 at home against the Trail Smoke Eaters.
