Merritt, BC – May 25, 2009
The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the commitment of defenceman Codie Kightley (88) to the Portage College Voyageurs of the ACAC.
“We look forward and are excited to have Codie join our school and our hockey program.” said Voyageurs coach Terry Ewasiuk.
Kightley, who is from Merritt, played 110 games in two seasons with the Centennials, posting 14 points and 236 penalty minutes. He also served as an alternate captain during each of his seasons with the team.
The entire Centennials organization would like to thank Codie for his contributions to the team and wish him the best of luck with Portage College.
