Colton Beck scored twice and set up another to lead the hometown Langley Chiefs to a 6-3 victory over the Merritt Centennials on Saturday.
Jordan Sims — with a goal and two assists — Kody Dhaliwal, Marcus Watson and Brandon Thompson also scored for the Chiefs (14-9-1-2). Andrew Walsh turned aside 19 of 22 shots he faced to record the win.
Alexander MacMillan, Derek Hills and Colton Sobchak scored for the Centennials (8-15-0-1), who remain winless in nine games on the road this season. Cole Holowenko made 27 saves in a losing cause.
Merritt went 1-for-9 on the man advantage while Langley went 2-for-8.
The Centennials next action is in Nanaimo on Wednesday night while the Chiefs are home to Westside on Thursday.
