The Merritt Centennials Junior ?A? Hockey Club Society would like to invite all residents of the Nicola Valley to its Annual General Meeting on Thursday June 24, 2010 at 7 p.m. in the Mezzanine at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena.
The evening will consist of reports on team finances for the 2009-10 fiscal year, marketing, season tickets, billeting, booster club, hockey operations and the election of the 2010-11 Board of Directors. Nominations for the Board of Directors will be permitted from the floor during the meeting.
?This is a good opportunity for residents to see how our meetings are run,? said Cents President and Chairman of the Board Jerry Canuel. ?They can see our year-end financial report and the whole program.?
?As a community-owned franchise, we want to be as transparent as we can and that?s why we invite anyone to come to our AGM and offer their thoughts or concerns,? continued Canuel. ?This is Merritt?s team, our community?s team, and that?s what we want it to be all about.?
