The Merritt Centennials continue to bolster their roster with the addition of Cornell University commit, 19 year old forward Tyler Wishart.
Tyler, standing 5’10” 165 lbs, played his BCHL rookie season in 22-23 with Nanaimo Clippers, dressing up 50 times and earning 17 points. Tyler will be on the IR for the next 3 weeks recovering from an injury, but is expected to be into the Centennials lineup for November.
“We are very pleased to have Tyler coming to our team; he is a dynamic playmaker and point producer. He is a really skilled player with the puck and has great offensive instincts. His BCHL experience will be valuable to our group. Tyler is versatile and can play centre or wing, he will be a good fit for us and adds an element that we needed. We would like to welcome Tyler and his family to the Merritt Centennials.”
