The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the acquisition of the rights to 19 year old defenceman Scott Maetche and future considerations from the Grand Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League in exchange for 19 year old forward Jordon Harrison.
Maetche, who is from Lacombe, Alberta, spent last season with the Storm, the Winkler Flyers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, and the Chillwack Bruins of the Western Hockey League. The 6'2″ 170 lb. blueliner played 64 games in the WHL with the Bruins during the 2006-07 season.
The Cents would like to thank Jordon for his contributions and dedication to the organization after being acquired last October from Quesnel, and wish him all the best in Grand Prairie.
