Cents Acquire Brad Davis and Cameron Brodie from Trail

The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the acquisition of 19 year old defenceman Cameron Brodie and 19 year old forward Brad Davis from the Trail Smoke Eaters in exchange for 20 year old forward Chad Gehon, 19 year old defenceman Tyler Johns, and 18 year old defenceman Shane Oatway. 

Brodie, a 6'1″ 215 lb. White Rock product, is entering his fourth full season in the BCHL. The veteran has played in 145 career games for 32 points and 211 penalty minutes with the Smoke Eaters, Langley Hornets, and Surrey Eagles. He's also chipped in five points and 14 penalty minutes in 16 career playoff games.

Davis, who hails from Quesnel, is a 6'0″ 185 lb. forward entering his third full season in the BCHL. He's skated in 100 career games with 16 points and 258 penalty minutes. Davis spent last season split between the Smoke Eaters and the Penticton Vees. In twenty career playoff games, he has four points and six penalty minutes.
