The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the acquisition of 20-year-old forward Blaine Bokenfohr from the Dawson Creek Rage of the North American Hockey League for future considerations.
Bokenfohr, who's from St. Albert, Alberta, has four goals and four assists and 27 PIM in 25 games with Dawson Creek this season.
He played with the Alberta Junior Hockey League?s Grand Prairie Storm in 2009-10, registering one goal and 11 PIM in 22 games as a 19-year-old.
?We are excited about adding Blaine to our group. He brings great playoff experience to our team and will add some maturity and composure instantly,? said Cents Head Coach/GM Luke Pierce. ?This move not only helps in the development of our young players, but also makes us a better team immediately.?
