The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the acquisition of 19 year old forward Dylan Herold from the Trail Smoke Eaters as the future considerations to complete the January 10th deal that saw 19 year old defenceman Kevin Koopman traded to the Kootenays.
Herold, a 6'0″ 185 lb. Tsawwassen product, is entering his third season in the BCHL and has a total of 12 goals, 16 assists, and 90 penalty minutes in 102 career games. He also has posted 2 goals, 2 assists, and 13 penalty minutes in 15 career playoff games with the Smokies.
The entire Cents organization would like to welcome Dylan to the team and look forward to seeing him in a Merritt sweater at training camp in August.
