The 1-3-0-0 Merritt Centennials travel to the Cominco Arena in Trail tonight to face the 1-2-0-1 Smoke Eaters at 7:30 PM.
Merritt is coming off back-to-back losses this past weekend to the West Kelowna Warriors, while Trail also lost two games, both on home ice to the Penticton Vees.
The Cents powerplay was 3-for-5 on Saturday at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena, a number that could play a role in tonight's game depending on the amount of man advantages.
At the home opener on Saturday, Centennials fans attended a tailgate party and raised $250.00 for the Nicola Valley & District Food Bank.
