Centennials Acquire Netminder LaCouvee From AJHL

The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the acquisition of 19-year old goaltender Connor LaCouvee from the Grande Paririe Storm of the AJHL in exchange for future considerations.

The product of Qualicum Beach, BC spent the majority of last season with the Cowichan Valley Capitals, posting a 3.61 GAA and a .904 Save Percentage in 20 games.

Proior to his time in the BCHL, LaCouvee was with the Notre Dame Argos Midget AAA program in the SMAAAHL, where he appeared in 31 games posting a .901 Save Percentage in the regular season, and a .931 Save Percentage in 8 playoff games.

LaCouvee was born in 1994 and is the third goaltender on the Centennial roster, joining fellow '94s Devin Kero and Russell Sanderson, who has been placed on the 30-day injured reserve.
