BCHL Launches Drive to Benefit Children’s Hospital

BURNABY, BC ? November 19,2008 — The British Columbia Hockey League is inviting junior hockeyfans province wide to join with the league?s 16 member teams to raisefunds for BC Children?s Hospital during the week of November 24th to30th.

 

Thatweek, each BC Hockey League team will be campaigning at a se?lectedhome game to benefit BC Children?s Hospital. This initiative, which isco-sponsored by Save-On-Foods and the Overwaitea Food Group, hopes toraise over $16,000 in the first of two special weeks that will takeplace during the 2008/09 BCHL regular season.
