Alumni: Scott Ford Signs One Year, Two Way Contract with St. Louis Blues

St. Louis, MO – July 1, 2012

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has signed  defenseman Scott Ford to a one-year, two-way contract.

Ford, 32, dressed in 75 games for the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals last season posting 11 points including four goals and seven assists to go along with 89 penalty minutes.

The 6’3, 216-pound defenseman has appeared in 380 career AHL games between Cleveland, Bridgeport, Providence and Milwaukee recording 41 points including four goals and 37 assists to go along with 596 penalty minutes.

Ford is a native of Fort St. John, BC.

He played three seasons with the Centennials from 1997 to 2000, posting 14 goals, 47 assists and 320 penalty minutes in 157 career BCHL games before embarking on a four year college career at Brown University.
