Stephan Seeger Signs With German Team

The Merritt Centennials are excited to announce that former Cents player, Stephan Seeger has signed a contract with the Lowen Frankfurt in the Del 2 league over in Germany.

Seeger played a total of sixty-six BCHL games in a Centennials uniform, putting up fourteen goals, and twenty-seven assists in the regular season, and played fifteen postseason games, scoring five goals, including the game winning goal to sweep the West Kelowna Warriors in the first round of the playoffs last season, and finishing with eight assists in the postseason.

“I am excited and honored to start my pro career in Germany with the Lowen Franfurt,” said Seeger, “I’m prepared to start the next chapter of my hockey life,” added Seeger, “I would like to thank: my teammates, Coach Joe, Coach Matt, my billets, the Portleance’s, the Booster club, and the City of Merritt for all the support throughout my junior career. Best of luck to the old and new Centennials in the freshly started 2017-2018 season.”
