The Merritt Centennials in partnership with the Nicola Valley Food Bank, Century 21 Moving Real Estate BC Ltd., and Merritt Property Management Ltd. are deeply saddened that this Christmas the team will be unable to take part in what has become a Merritt tradition – The Hockey With Heart Food Drive.
Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic of Covid-19 the community safety and the players/team safety is paramount. A door to door food drive is just not feasible.
We encourage fans to drop off toys, gently used or new outerwear (only), or food to the Century 21 office at 2840 Voght Street. This will all be donated to the Nicola Valley Food Bank.

Alternatively, we encourage the community to sponsor a family through the Food Bank Christmas Hamper program.
It is our hope that next year we will be able to continue spreading the Christmas Cheer with our Food Drive and Teddy Bear Toss.
