Cents’ Steve Tresierra & Silvan Harper tie for BCHL Lead in Games Played

Merritt, BC – February 21, 2011

Merritt Centennials captain Steve Tresierra and forward Silvan Harper tied for first for most games played in the British Columbia Hockey League during the 2010-11 season.

Tresierra and Harper tied with Salmon Arm's David Killip and Brandon Mistal, Coquitlam's Massimo Lamacchia, Jason Grecica, and Mark Begert, Penticton's Joey Benik and Kyle Mountain, Trail's Cullen Bradshaw and Paul Mailey, Cowichan Valley's Jordan Grant, and Surrey's Robert Lindores and Riley Sweeney.

It's the second straight season that Tresierra, 20, has tied for the league-lead in games played as the veteran has missed just three games since joining the BCHL full-time to start the 2008-09 season.

Harper, 18, has missed just one game in his BCHL career since joining the Centennials to start the 2009-10 season.
