Cents Shutdown the Rivermen for second Straight Shutout

For the first time in over two months, Russell Sanderson would get the start in goal for the Merritt Centennials.  He would play a great game as the Cents continued their great play on the road with a 5-0 shut out win over  the Langley Rivermen last night.

Goals were scored by – Scotty Patterson (11), Sebastien Pare (13), Brent Fletcher (5), Regan Soquila (22) and Derek Huisman (20).

Assists – Huisman, Maktaak, Martin, Soquila, Pare, Fletcher and Harper.

Russell Sanderson made 32 saves for his third win of the season and 1st BCHL shutout.

The first star of the game was Sebastien Pare who in front of his friends and family, and playing with a heavy heart had two points.

The Cents remain on the road Wednesday Night in Salmon Arm to face the Silverbacks.  All the action is on Q101 starting at 6:30 with voice of the Cents, Graham Turnbull
