Cents Road Trip Continues

The Merritt Centennials are hitting the road once again this weekend as they take on the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, (9-11-2-0), tomorrow night at the Shaw Centre. The Centennials just finished their island trip this past weekend with a 6-0 win over the Victoria Grizzlies, (10-8-3-0), a 3-3 tie with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs, (7-9-1-3), and a 5-4 win over the Surrey Eagles, (9-9-2-1), picking up a possible 5 out of 6 points.


The Cents can jump over the ‘Backs in the standings with a regulation win tomorrow night.

Zach Zorn currently leads the forwards in points with 8 goals and 10 assists with Henry Cleghorn and Nick Wicks right behind him with 17 points each, Cleghorn with 7 goals and 10 assists and Wicks having 6 goals and 11 assists. Defencemen wise, Tyrell Buckley leads the team with 4 goals and 10 assist.


Puck drop is at 7:00 tomorrow night at the Shaw Centre and as always you can listen live on Q101 with Jared Thomas, pregame starting at 6:45.
