We are very excited and pleased to sign 18-year-old Defenseman Trent LeDrew. Trent comes to the Merritt Centennials from the Brockville Braves CCHL. Last season with Brockville Trent played 55 games, 8 Goals and 25 Assists for 33 Points and including 12 playoff games with 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points.
Trent is an exceptionally smart, skilled defenseman and he makes good decisions in all situations. He is a mature player and was an Assistant Captain with Brockville Braves last season. He will be a difference-maker for our team both on and off the ice.
Trent will be an integral part of our defense and a cornerstone player, who is continuing to develop. We are thrilled to have Trent join our team. A huge welcome to Trent and his family to the Merritt Centennials.
