The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce that once again this year, their Booster Club is hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser as part of Rodeo Fair Days in Merritt.
The pancake breakfast is on Saturday, September 1st from 8 to 11 a.m. in the Quilchena Square parking lot (in front of Dollar Tree).
Breakfast is just $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids and seniors and it includes pancakes, eggs and sausage.
"The Rodeo Fair Days Pancake Breakfast is an event that we are very proud to do each year," said Cents Booster Club President Betty Doberstein. "A number of years ago, the Merritt Rotary Club asked us to take it on and use it as a fundraiser for the hockey team and it is always a great success – we have to thank the entire community for the amazing support."
"It's a great opportunity to bring the family down and have a hearty breakfast at a reasonable price before the Rodeo and Fall Fair events get started," Doberstein continued. "Plus every single penny goes directly back into the Centennials organization to help maintain our local team as the BCHL's longest continuously-run franchise."
