Centennials hire Brian Campbell as Regional Scout BC

The Merritt Centennials are excited to announce the hiring of Brian Campbell as BC Regional Scout. Brian comes to us as a scout of the Langley Rivermen BCHL and is the Owner and Director of TwoWayHockey.com

Brian’s passion for the game began at the young age of five years old living in Edmonton, Alberta. At the age of 9, his family moved to Vancouver, where his hockey career really took off.

His father, being a former professional soccer player, sought out the best training available. This happened to be Joe McKeekan, founder of Two Way Hockey (Former alums- Joe Sakic, Brendan Morrison, Cam Neely, Glen Anderson & Cliff Ronning). Brian soon became one of the elite players of his age group and was chosen to play in the u18AAA All-Star tournament. The following year, he began his BCHL Career with the Kelowna Buckaroos and the North West Caps. His final two seasons were spent with Richmond Sockeyes.

Brian has been training and developing hockey players for close to 40 years. He has tremendous respect and passion for the game of Hockey. He is also considered one of the top professional power skating coaches in B.C. Brian takes great pride in the development and mentoring of his students and strives for them to be the best hockey players on and off the ice. He accomplishes this by forming great relationships with each individual. Brian is honored to be given the opportunity with the Merritt Centennial’s 51st season. Let’s go Cents!
