Merritt, BC – December 7, 2009
Merritt Arena Sports and the Merritt Centennials hockey club partnered for the annual Skate with Santa event Monday night at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena.
All of the Cents players were on the ice with close to 200 participants and all of the proceeds from regular public skating will be donated to the Nicola Valley and District Food Bank! In fact, a total of $262.00 was raised!
The Cents Booster Club also provided free hot chocolate for all participants!
