On March 24, the Merritt Centennials, who were down 3-2 in the series against the Penticton Vees, have forced a game 7. Zachary Zorn opened up the scoring at 17:13 of the first period with Nick Fidanza and Cade Gleekel drawing the assists. Matt Gosiewski got the Vees on the board at 11:45 of the second period.
At 10:23 of the first OT, Tyrell Buckley scored for the Cents to force a game 7.
“It was a great pass from Regush to set me up” said OT hero Tyrell Buckley. “Just tried to get the shot off quick and luckily it went in. Really excited the team has a chance to win the series in game 7 in Penticton”
