This season was a step in the right direction. The team won more games this year than in recent seasons, and players were provided with opportunities to further their hockey careers and grow as individuals. There were also many highlights off the ice, including recognizing various alums, hosting multiple community events, having the team be heavily involved in the community such as participating in the elementary school reading program, assisting Merritt Minor Hockey and Can Skate with practices, collaborating with community groups to raise funds and awareness for local causes and participate alongside residents of the Nicola Valley at many events and much more!
