Isenberg Commits to the Cents for 2022-23

MERRITT, BC. – The Merritt Centennials Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is pleased to announce Defenceman Kyle Isenberg (’04) has committed to the team for the 2022-2023 season.

Isenberg, a 6’1 185 pound native of Anaheim, California has spent his whole hockey playing career thus far with the Anaheim Junior Ducks program. This past season Kyle was the captain of the U-18 AAA team. Isenberg is already committed NCAA Division 1 to the Air Force Falcons.

Isenberg is a two-way Defenceman that has been in a leadership role in most of the teams he has played for, he has a rangy athletic body that is quick and hard to beat in any area. ‘Cents Head Coach Curtis Toneff had been recruiting Isenberg since early January and has had great experience’s in the past bringing in players from under the guidance of Anaheim Ducks Coach August Aiken. Isenberg also played for NHL legend Scott Niedermayer until bantam.

Last season, In 44 games with the Ducks U-18 AAA, Kyle tallied 37 points, 8 goals and 29 assists to go along with 54 penalty minutes. Kyle also suited up for two games in the NAHL.
