The Merritt Centennials announced today that 18-year-old defenceman Marshall Skapski has been traded to the Cowichan Valley Capitals for future considerations.
“We’d like to thank Marshall for his contributions to our organization,” said Cents GM and Head Coach Joe Martin. “We wish him all the best in Cowichan and for the remainder of his hockey career.”
Skapski played 28 career games in Merritt, all this season, posting four points (one goal, three assists) and 21 penalty minutes. The Abbotsford native was acquired by the Centennials from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs this past April.
