December 9, 2008 – MERRITT, BC
The Merritt Centennials Skate With Santa event was a huge success with the proceeds from admission totaling an amount of more than $275 which will be donated to the Nicola Valley and District Food Bank to help out needy families this holiday season.
More than 100 participants took part and the Centennials Booster Club provided free hot chocolate to everyone in attendance.
A big thanks to Brian Barrett and Merritt Arena Sports for their part in putting on this amazing annual community event.
