Cents Pull ‘No Bull’ For Ty Pozzobon Foundation

The Merritt Centennials had another successful 3rd jersey campaign in support of the Ty Pozzobon Foundation.

This time round the Centennials opted for a new logo featuring a red bull to honor the legacy of Ty Pozzobon. With the help of Jay Loeppky from local 378 Boardshop, the Cents fashioned a logo that honored the cowboy history of Merritt, but also the legacy of Ty Pozzobon with the ‘No Bull’ 3rd Jersey.

In total, the auction raised 5125 dollars and there was no surprise that the Pozzobon 23 received the highest bid at $600. Bragging rights for the highest roster player went to Ben Ward who had a 300 dollar bid, while Captain Rylan Van Unen went for 260.

Business Operations Manager Jared Thomas says the auction is always a win-win.

“It’s great to be able to support a foundation that has Mental Health at the forefront of it’s mandate. We hope to continue to nurture the relationship between the Centennials and the Ty Pozzobon Foundation for many years to come.”

The Centennials would like to thank all those that cast bids for their support.
