Cents BCHL’s Busiest Team On Trade Deadline Day

January 10, 2009 – MERRITT, BC

The Merritt Centennials were involved in no fewer than eight trades on BCHL Trade Deadline day.

The trades saw the Cents acquire a number of future considerations that will help build the team into a contender in the BCHL's Interior Conference next season.

When it was all said and done, the Centennials gave up F Jordan Grant (90) and F Alex Goodship (89) off their roster while acquiring F Michael Nardi (90).

Here's a run down of all the trades involving the Cents on deadline day:

The Cents acquire future considerations from Grand Prairie of the AJHL for F Brooks Robinson (89).

The Cents acquire F Brooks Robinson (89) and future considerations from Powell River for F Jordan Grant (90).

The Cents acquire future considerations from Nanaimo for F Matt Betker (89).

The Cents acquire F Michael Nardi (90) and future considerations from Prince George for F Alex Goodship (89).

The Cents acquire future considerations from Penticton for F Max Grassi (88).

The Cents acquire F Max Grassi (88) from Burnaby for D Andrew Glasser (90).

The Cents acquire F Matt Betker (89) and future considerations from Westside for F Chad Gehon (88).

The Cents acquire F Chad Gehon (88) and future considerations from Trail for F Scott Jacklin (90).
