Geerin, a 6'1'' 195 lb. blueliner from Anchorage, AK, is in his second season of junior A hockey. He has 16 points in 30 games with Cowichan Valley this season and 34 points in 84 career games split among the Capitals, Penticton, and Trail.

The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the acquisition of forward Scott Jacklin (90) and defenceman Jimmy Geerin (89) from the Cowichan Valley Capitals in exchange for defenceman Curtis Gedig (91).
