The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the re-acquisition of 2002-born forward Walker Erickson from the BCHL’s Nanaimo Clippers.
Erickson comes back to the Cents in a future considerations trade between the Clippers and Centennials.
Erickson, a Surrey, BC native, split the past season between the Clippers and the Centennials The 20-year-old picked up 10 points (3g, 7a) in 40 games.
“It’s a unique situation where Walker is already familiar with the community, and some players in the dressing room. On the ice, he has a fresh slate to show his talents and prove he is a top-end player in this league, he is a big strong young man with a ton of talent.” – Head Coach and GM Curtis Toneff.
