Centennials Make Two Roster Moves

Merritt B.C. – The Merritt Centennials have made two separate roster moves:

The Centennials have traded Brandon Sacchetti, 2002 Forward, to the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the AJHL for future considerations and the rights to Ty Hurley, 2004 Forward, who currently plays for the Swift Current Broncos in the Western League.

The Centennials have also officially added Coleman Jenkins, 2033 Forward, from the Nanaimo Clippers in exchange for future considerations. Coleman is a big strong forward with a good shot and puck protection skills. Coleman is committed to the College of the Holy Cross in the NCAA Division One.

The Centennials would like to sincerely thank Brandon for his dedication and time spent in the community of Merritt. Brandon was made aware of his trade to Sherwood Park and still went and played street hockey for two hours with Merritt’s youth minutes later, a true sign of character from a great person and hockey player, all the best Brandon!

The Centennials are excited to officially welcome Coleman to our hockey club and community.
