Favorite thing about playing in Merritt? : “Favorite part of Merritt was having a great billet family, Melody and Greg Johnson.  Favorite memory from playing here? : “Favorite memory from playing in Merritt was having great teammates and having a successful year personally. Our Coach, Al Glendenning put together a good mix of toughness and skill. He let us be creative offensively and it led to a good season for many players”.

What did you do after you were done junior hockey:  “After my first year of juniors I received a full ride scholarship to Quinnipiac University where I spent 4 seasons”.

What are you doing now? : “Currently I am in my 8th season professionally, playing in the KHL for the Kunlun Red Star”

What do you miss the most about playing here in Merritt? :  “I definitely miss junior hockey. Being fortunate to play junior hockey of my I remember being a very enjoyable phase in my life so far. It was balanced with hard work towards hockey and school”.

What advice would you give Cents players now on how to further their hockey career?: “Some advice I would give to Cents players now is that you are in a good place to be scouted for many leagues. Keep working hard and extra is never enough!”
