PREVIEW: The Merritt Centennials, (17-20-2-1), play a rare Tuesday night game tomorrow night as they take on the Wenatchee Wild, (26-12-3-1), at home.
The Cents are coming off of a weekend split, winning 5-0 over the Vernon Vipers, (28-10-1-4), on Friday night and coming close but losing 5-4 on Saturday night against the Trail Smoke Eaters, (26-13-3-1). The Wild are coming off of a 6-0 win over the West Kelowna Warriors, (21-19-1-1) on Saturday night.
The last time that the Cents and Wild met was back in December as the Wild visited the Cents at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena; with the Wild winning that game 7-3.
The players that the Cents have to watch is Jackson Weatherbe up front with 56 points, (29 goals and 27 asssits), and on the defensive side, it’s Cooper Zech that leads the Wild with 45 points, (8 goals and 37 assists).
