Merritt Centennials:
Silvan Harper Takes Home Gong Show BCHL Player of the Week
Tuesday, January 29, 2013
The longest tenured Merritt Centennials has taken home the Gongshow BCHL Player of the Week Award.

Silvan Harper had himself a great 3 game weekend road swing scoring in all three games totalling 6 points.

The Coquitlam native began with two goals in an overtime win against Victoria, scored the game-winner plus one helper in a win over Cowichan Valley and took 1st Star in the finale as he tallied a goal and an assist in a win over Nanaimo.

Harper, the active games played leader in the BCHL with 220, now has 27 points and is poised to break his single-season points record from last year when he had 28.

Honorable mention this week also goes to Regan Soquila.

Congratulations to both players.
